Carrie Underwood - Hello Young Lovers

Ahhh! It's a Stepford Wife. Oh no wait... it's just Carrie in another one of her unflattering ensembles. It's actually a nice dress, but with the the band playing slowly and the soft twinkling lights glittering all over the place she looks like the perfect robot. OR... a mannequin in a Sear's Store Window modeling a very unpopular Brunch dress that nobody'll ever buy and is then thrown into a cardboard box when Spring is over. Her hair is also slightly reminiscent of those bad female 80's combovers chicks would flip over their leather jackets while wearing fingerless gloves and smacking gum. But as a whole, she looks very Christian. (Interpret that any way you wish). HOWEVER, as 'meh' as her dress is, the vocals on here are perfect. I want to listen to this song while rolling around in a field of heavenly scented daffodils, staring at a clear blue sky and feeling the wind wrap around me like a blanket. I secretly (and maybe 'illegaly,' I'm not sure) have mp3's of almost every Idol performance I like, but this is one of the rare few I keep coming back to. Which is strange because, if anything, this is considered on of her least memorable performances. And sometimes it's considered one of her worst. This could have easily been one of those 'Unchained Melody' moments, where if the vocals suck and you're not feeling it, the performance is almost 'never-ending' or as I like to call it, 'shitty.' But it was sweet. And I don't know why, but (starting with Carrie's 'Alone') the quality of the recent vids doesn't seem as 'Up to Par' as before, especially towards the beginning. But strangely, it looks better to me when in Full Screen. It also feels like the commentary is actually getting longer per vid. Does it look that way for anyone else? Did ya'll stop reading after paragraph 5? I'm I talking to myself like some crazy person? Poop 3.
