This is an original plot line set in the existing SW universe, it has some characters you will recognise, amongst them, Yoda, Luke skywalker (briefley), the Emperor, Anakin Skywalker, TWO Obi-Wan Kenobi's (well there IS time travel involved!) and my own ORIGINAL character, NIVEK, a Jedi Knight, who travels back in time to....(well I'm NOT going to tell you everything before you watch it) this was quite a challenging production... This is my first go at doing a film with SPECIAL EFFECTS (that are more complicated than shining a halogen flashlight at the camera, ah-la MOT-FAD-WE-WAR) I had to do things I've NEVER even attempted before... LIGHTSABRES, EXPLOSIONS, HOLOGRAPHIC COMMUNICATORS, LEAPING, "FORCE THROWING", TIME MACHINE EFFECTS, and all this ontop of what HAD to be an interesting story, and THE MOST COMPLICATED soundtrack I've had to deal with to date!!! all in all I'm VERY happy with the result. Oh, and just incase you got confused... according to the rules of the competition I made this for, This is supposed to be a TRAILER for a star wars movie (existing or fictional, in this case fictional), so it has been designed as a trailer, ie. it is not one complete flowing story from beginning to end, it is just supposed to give you a "FEEL" for the movie (which, in this case doesn't really exist! how's That for slightly unnerving?) |
