Description:
SS Division Totenkopf ("Death's Head") is also known as 3. SS-Panzergrenadier-Division Totenkopf and 3. SS-Panzer-Division Totenkopf. It was one of the 38 divisions fielded by the Waffen-SS during World War II. Prior to achieving division status, the formation was known as Kampfgruppe Eicke. The division's military record is infamous due to numerous war crimes and the fact that most of the initial enlisted men were SS-Totenkopfverbände (SS concentration camp guards).

You can see in ANY (really, any!) reports of people who fought waffen ss men, and they will sure explain where they found that idea.
i really haven't researched much about tanks of ww2, but i can tell you that there was orders for soviets to always use panthers, when possible. The design is clearly based on the experiences of fighting t34, and is, undoubtedly, a superior design to the russian tank. Superior main gun, superior armor, etc. About the gasoline/diesel problem. I will research it.

the wehrmacht should get much greater consideration than waffen ss for that. The wehrmacht soldiers that were trained before the war started (with the excellent training program by fritch and beck), were definetely at least on par with waffen SS soldiers. I admit that later, during the war, the training of the regular soldier deteriorated due to the great loss of men during barbarossa, and the elite of german army began to be the waffen ss.

actually the goths and the general germanic tribes were very similar to the nordics. they had the same religion (wotan = odin, etc.) , costumes..... with just some minor differences

Then present the proofs. It is general consensus that the allied aerial campaign reduced by more than 50% germany's capacity in the war effort. Not only they bombed industrys very effectively.... they also destroyed trains, rails, roads, etc. so, even when the industries did their part, the equipments didnt get to the front. You want proof? about 2000 me262 were effectively built, but just like 400 got to the front. and just about 200 were indeed used in the war.

My co-worker Maxim, died 4 years ago. He fought against Totenkopf in Budapest 1944. He witnessed his family massacred outside Lvov in 1941 when he was 16. Joined partisan unit, then red army. Glory to you, Maxie!
