Cindy Sheehan and others from groups including Gold Star Families for Peace, AfterDowingStreet, Democracy Rising, Code Pink, and Traprock Peace Center, among many others, brought a petition to the gates of the White House. The petition called on the Bush administration to not attack Iran; it was signed by over 40,000 people.
