Tho my favorite interpretation of Chopin´s work is still the one by Adam Harasiewicz I must admit that Rafal is really doing a great job.

He plays spontaneously and zestfully like a young dancer, and his articulate playing is in true keeping to the polish national dance style, as should be.

both ,the special higher lifting technique coming from his wrist and the structure of his hand and fingers are causing the strange loking position

Anyone else envious that his parents could afford piano lessons and training from an early age? I would trade places in a second.

his hand position has been talked about a lot, I personally like it since my hand looks almost exacvtle the same except the pinky >.< it's just a matter of preference....His is said to be unorthodox, doesn't matter to me.

I love his interpretation, it is very bright and vivacious One question, why is it that his hands look a lot different from the other pianists I have seen? Is it because his fingers are just long or does his technique involve lifting the fingers higher?

This is BY FAR the best interpretation of this Rondo that I've ever heard!! The ending is incredibly fantastic. Rafal is truly amazing.
