Description: I sing the golden oldie by Johnny Logan, which deservedly won the Eurovision Song Contest for him and Ireland in 1980, and has remained evergreen since. I ought also to mention that the composer of this is Shay Healey. Logan composed so much of his own stuff and for others that it's easy to forget he didn't actually compose this one, but credit where credit is due. The central frame does look atrocious. That'll teach me for not checking it before saving.

I cannot better Johnny Logan's performance, and I am a Johnny Logan fan (I did some work on the wikipedia article for Johnny and got told off for being too enthusiastic) but I just wanted to make an alternative rendition of the song about an octave lower for the simple reason that someone who really had been waiting decades for the right person (not my case, thankfully) probably would have lost their tenor range and sunk to bass by that time. 06-11-24 06:02:26 _____________________________________________________
