You have to remember that when TNA first started you had the WCW/WWF/ECW guys in the heavyweight division and every other singles wrestler in the X division. A lot of the midcard guys that TNA had worked that same high impact, high action style. Working with each other allowed them to get over with the fans, to the point that they became heavyweight title threats.
