ogbash ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 23:15:03 To summarize, my argument is that your plan of making fool of your opponents may easily result in your defeat. Population will not grasp all the relations between events, so they'll eat the explanation they want to listen. If you can't explain to people that christianity is JUST another religion, then why do you expect them to understand more complex matters? __________________________________________________
ogbash ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 22:53:25 Summing up, now it seems to me that word heroes is not good enough for what they've done. (I'm not fanatic, it takes me quite many articles and long time of thinking to get to this and I'm still in a process of finding the truth :) But now they are considered to be betrayers and even killers of the soviet economy. So, they did their job well but these were very hard times for the country and their opponents easily turned all upside down. __________________________________________________
ogbash ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 22:32:40 Just saw your two previous videos. Let me continue with USSR example. At the moment I'm reading papers about how political and mainly economical reforms were accomplished by those very few economists-liberals in 90s (I was too young to understand anything then). In addition to many difficult economical questions there was much political art required (I can try to translate some of them if you ever ask :) The problem was that even politicians did not understand all the complex rules of a market. __________________________________________________
ogbash ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 21:42:35 Your scenario is exactly what happened in USSR except there was no conspiracy you suggesting (btw one of the most interesting events to investigate and analyze, although I'm a computer scientist :) But I think you will just confuse most of the people if you try to advertise it like this. Accidentally, you may get a reputation of a sly, even though you do not really mean it. Not a very good analogy but anyway - "I want this potential criminal to commit crime because I want him to be in jail". __________________________________________________
kingphill456 ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 20:30:14 Reagan nomixs THAT What we have now lol __________________________________________________
TurboLoveTrain ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 14:18:54 Ironically, what he is talking about is part of cult teachings. I wasn't kidding when I said his ideas were extremely old. I'm sure the Yezidiz are glad to see their message revived. __________________________________________________
INTELprocess ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 13:18:30 what cult are you in? __________________________________________________
INTELprocess ::: Favorites 2008-01-02 13:18:00 im hoping your being sarcastic __________________________________________________
livinglegend1986 ::: Favorites 2008-01-01 09:42:11 I get it now. So do what doesn't need to be done because of the adverse affects it would have to teach a lesson. I think thats what your saying and then the people would realize it is time for change? __________________________________________________
TurboLoveTrain ::: Favorites 2008-01-01 01:54:25 NO. NO. This is the propagation of evil. This is the acceptance of evil. This is the expansion of evil. This is embracing evil. Becoming the devil to generate goodness is hypocrisy and retards the spiritual growth of humanity. __________________________________________________
Amwidkle ::: Favorites 2007-12-31 23:33:48 You are correct in that the Ron Paul Revolution is not a real revolution, but I believe that within the current system he has the best chance at reigning in the most outlandish policies of our government - the war and the military-industrial complex, the skyrocketing national debt, the federal reserve system, etc. Assuming there is not widespread voter fraud I believe it is folly to not vote for him; it's certainly a step in the right direction. __________________________________________________
1key2chaos ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 07:01:50 I agree with you. I understand its brilliance. It seems that the average Joe thinks that the people in office are some sort of 'God' in a sence. But to really understand how things are run you only have to see that these 'Gods' are human and its interesting into what being human entails. __________________________________________________
AssyrianRebel ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 01:39:38 The same will happen here, only a unmanagible fundamental change of the "American life style" will cause full scale revolution. Americans just want to be rocked back and forth until they can fall asleep again. __________________________________________________
AssyrianRebel ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 01:39:27 70s: vietnam (legacy of a long-time cold war), OPEC (fuel crisis thus economic crisis), destruction of manufacturing jobs. Unrest? Yes. Revolution? No. In fact the 70s looked a lot like today (except their enviornmental thing was the hole in the o-zone layer). Why was revolution not preciptated, well it's partially because people were so comfortible with their life style and the system which had sustained them that they pushed for mere tweaks of the system. __________________________________________________
Metal4Truth ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 00:18:09 I don't think that our basis for liberty and ethics should be based on economic conditions. I'm not disagreeing with you on the historical importance of economic prosperity, but as we see in the US, we're the richest country in the world and yet we're losing our liberties and ethical principles on a nearly daily basis. So something is wrong there with that ideology. __________________________________________________ |
