socalposyden ::: Favorites yea its a ls6 not as ls1 as some have said.. thats correct. but that aint what youre hearing. the reason this mti x1 sounds different is the fact the idle on this car is around 500rpm and needs to be re-adjusted. listen to it... its about to stall. dont confuse cam lope for low idle. this cam should idle at least 800-900rpm (or actually higher) but apparently they havent re-programmed the pcm for higher idle yet. higher idle speed and it will sound like a normal x1 cam. 07-08-16 11:45:05 _____________________________________________________
